Q: Why don't you put a "buy-it-now" on your auctions.
A: Sometimes
we do ... not very often. We also like a good auction and most of the time
we don't know what an item is worth anyway?
Q: Will you end the item and just sell it to me outside of
ebay.
A: No,
Don't ask, we don't go around ebay for a few reasons.
We don't always get the same stuff. That's why we
use ebay, we don't even sell things on our web sites http://grandassetsauctions.com

We wholesale large amounts to dealers then ebay what's
left.......
Its not that easy just to end an auction with so much going on, and one
with bids on it
I do too much business with ebay to risk shooting myself in the foot
over a dollar.
Sorry about that..... even if you were to give me
more money then I would get when the auction closes, we just can't do it.
Q: Will you send my item to another address because ......
A: No,
Please make sure you have the right address on file with eBay and Paypal,
to prevent fraud for you and us we do not send items to another address,
not because you moved and you forgot to change it, not because you want it
to go to your office, not because you wanted it to show up as a gift to some
one else.

to us to only ever ship to Verified addresses they have on file, and #2)
we run so many items per week and ship upwards of 200+ items a day ... there is no way we can single out one package for special
treatment, we are sorry about that.

A: Maybe,
and some of the time we do, we just didn't post everything we had, email
me!
If you are runner up-bidder you will have first shot
at any others we may have left.

recommend placing a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to
avoid disappointment.
Q: Is that the item in the picture
I am going to get.
A: Yes
it is, we do not use stock photos or manufactures pictures. We have a high
quality digital camera and take the best picture we can for you the bidder.
About the camera
Q: What's up with Required Insurance?.
A: Its
a small price to pay for piece of mind, but if you really don't want it email
me and we will re-invoice you, and I will have the email that says you did
not want it! But Because of some dishonest ebayers (long story) we started
Required insurance about a year ago on everything and we haven't had a problem
since, I guess on a book it is a little overkill but it has worked for us
and very few complaints in the last hundreds of items.
At the very bottom where it says shipping of every
auction it says Required Insurance, and one most of the pages of our web
site, its not something I spring on people at the last Min. I would never
do that because I would not want it done to me and I buy on ebay more then
we sell ..

Q: Will you ship out of the country?
A:
We will, if you are willing to pay the extras .... wait out the long shipping
times .... and take the risk because we can't insure what leaves the country.

1) Invalid and Dead Email addresses?
A:
It seems 1 in 100 eBay users do not have their current email address with
eBay and Paypal, Please keep this information as up to date as you can because
it causes the seller a lot of trouble. If we ship to your paypal address,
so if what ebay and paypal have is wrong dont blame us if your package goes
somewhere your not!

2) Old, Wrong, False or Missing Contact Information?
A:
We only ship items to the address that is on the eBay and Paypal information
we are given by them for many reasons, one is to protect you! Accounts are
taken by hackers every day and we have seen this first hand with friends and
customers, so dont ask us to ship to any address other then what paypal has
on file for you! If you want it any other way Contact eBay and Paypal and
change it, we have had to every time we move and I know its a pain, but its
their Policy! and we have followed it:)

Q: Can I
retract my bid on your item
A: Sure you can, please visit Our Bid Retraction
Page and there is a link half way down that will take you to eBays retraction
form.
Q: Will you send as a gift on the customs form.
A: No,
out of the question, don't ask!
Q:
I emailed you two hours before the auction
ended and didn't get a reply in time?
A: Sorry for
the slow reply time, on a good day we get upwards of 150 to 200 emails a
day. We try and get to them as they come in so please don't leave it till
the last minute. When the auctions are over we will have to email all the
winners and respond to their needs first.
